— End of days?
Sometimes it feels as if the world may be coming to and end.
First the virus, then economic collapse, now looting.
— Peaceful protests
Here’s a view from my friend’s apartment in Sheridan Square. Vast numbers of peaceful protesters swell the streets.
We are grateful to them.
— Looters take advantage
It was almost exclusively teenagers who took advantage of the protests to break into stores all over the city.
Monday night’s view on our corner.
In my own building, the pharmacy was attacked and looted for Rx medications.
